Wristbands can be used for many events and happenings. A few of these are fund raisers, memorials, sporting events, company events, music festivals, and many others. It always surprises me how creative some companies get when using wristbands as a promotional product.


The best result if you are using the wristbands for a promotional purpose is to link it up with a website. This will insure that whoever you are passing them out to will have a way to get in contact with you in the future. I know that not everyone has a website or blog, but these days it's very simple to start one using free services like Blogspot.com or Tumblr.com. You will be surprised at how effective this can be, especially if you are part of a smaller association.

The last decade we've been lucky to have many products easily available for customization. Easily, that's the important word here. Everything from key chains to a coffee cups are now able to be customized with your artwork. The key to choosing the right custom product is based on firstly your needs, but secondly on the price of the product. Raising funds for Illness - When raising money for your local charity many people will give to you because on some level we've all experienced the pain these diseases cause the people around us. So, people in this case, already have a reason to donate to the cause and receive your wristband as a bonus.


Raising funds for your group - When raising money for your group things may get tricky. Unlike raising money for your charity the people have no reason to donate. But obviously your group needs money for that trip to the museum, so you cannot give up there! The best solution for this is to buy a $25 gift certificate from a popular store in your town and every time someone donates their name gets entered into a raffle. This can be highly effective since a lot of people love winning prizes. On a side note, it also helps that local business - so they might be willing to just give you the gift card.


Sporting Events - Customized wristbands are sporting events can be great for boosting that home team spirit! The bands can be customized with your school colors, logo, and text. The wrist bands are often given out, but sometimes sold. If they are sold the money usually goes towards the schools expenses. A solution that everybody seems to like is to give the wristbands out when you pay to get in events like football and basketball.


Company Events - As touched on a bit earlier the wrist bands can be an excellent promotional product. They work so well because they have that neutral, cool feel to them and are very inexpensive. Putting your website on the bands is very good for continuing your marketing campaign online.


Music Festivals - Customized wristbands are fantastic for bands. It's the same principal we talked about earlier as far as making sure your bands myspace or facebook URL is on the bands. A lot of bands don't realize but this is a direct link back to your event list, music recordings, video and so much more. It is extremely important and I can't emphasize it enough.
